Hord's much-anticipated revenue share feature is set to go live on April 1st, marking a significant milestone for the Hord community. This program enables users holding HORD tokens to earn a direct share of the platform's success. Hord will distribute 50% of the protocol fees generated via validator rewards and distribute them to HORD token holders.
To participate in Hord’s revenue share, HORD token holders will need to register on-chain and sign a message in their wallet. A new segment of Hord’s website will be added shortly to support the revenue share feature.
The process will involve periodic snapshots, capturing the proportional holdings of users. These snapshots ensure a fair and transparent distribution of rewards. Using the disperse function, Hord will then send out the earned tokens, denominated in hETH, to registered users. It's important to note that there will be certain limitations, including a maximum cap per user to maintain fairness and prevent any concentration of rewards.
This Revenue Share initiative not only aligns with Hord's commitment to community inclusion but also introduces a novel way for users to directly benefit from the platform's success.
