The Revenue Share feature at Hord has been widely discussed since the launch of Hord’s token governance. This feature is very near completion and will launch soon. Before its launch, we would like to fully explain how the feature will work.
Hord’s Revenue Share feature redistributes 50% of protocol fees, constituting 10% of validator rewards, to enrolled HORD holders. This ensures active participants benefit from redistributed fees.
To enroll, users need a minimum of 2,500 HORD and can enroll with up to 500,000 HORD. Enrollment involves signing a transaction with their wallet, with automatic balance updates upon enrollment.
Enrollment will take place in the near future on app.hord.fi, more details to follow.
Daily snapshots of enrolled users' HORD balances are taken randomly for eligibility and share size determination. Airdrop calculations occur daily, with actual airdrops distribution monthly. Eligibility for each snapshot requires holding HORD above the minimum on that day.
The Airdrop’s distribution happens through Disperse.app on at the end of each month. After the airdrop, re-enrollment is allowed for the next batch.
HORD tokens on both Arbitrum and Ethereum chains are supported and are displayed as a combined total in the user interface for users holding both versions.
This setup ensures fair distribution, transparency, and ease of participation for HORD holders, incentivizing active involvement in the Revenue Share program. Users benefit from a passive income stream through their HORD holdings and contribute to the ecosystem's growth and sustainability.
